The clients required a complete overhaul to what was a very tired
Petersham garden. Access was through the house therefore a clever
design was needed to limit the amount of material needed to bring in
and out. It was decided to create a three level garden utilizing clean
lines and contempory materials fulfilling the brief given by the
clients. Plenty of in-built seating was implemented including what will
be a luxurious day bed on the lower level using the screened off hot
water unit as a back.
The planting complements the contempory nature of the project whilst including the clients wishes for a number of native plants. At night the garden comes alive with a combination of eyelid and uplighters set within the planting. The client’s are absolutely delighted with the results and spend many hours entertaining friends or simply relaxing in their new city oasis.
