This large courtyard garden was designed to become a tranquil relaxation garden.  An area where you would be drawn to and seamlessly take your mind off any unwanted thoughts.

To do this it was essential to incorporate soothing line styles, an informal planting scheme and of course a harmonious colour scheme.

All the lines styles incorporated in this design are formed as part of a circle, as we all can relate to and feel comfortable in a circular space.  The delicate form of all the plants and the informal layout assist in further softening the paving lines.  The subtle colours in  the natural stone, large format paving to the new paintwork all grant this garden with a clean peaceful result.   In response to this makeover, we are left with a smooth transition from house to garden and one that effectively complements the existing architecture.
