Richard Rimell, Site Manager
About Richard… Originally from Stourport on Severn, I have worked in the landscaping industry for my whole career (aside from a short stint as a groomsman!). What can I say - I love landscaping! I learnt my trade at the Pershore College of Horticulture in Worcestershire where I lead the construction team to win a medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 1996. Since then I have completed in excess of 240 gardens of all kinds. I’m a problem solver with a deep understanding of landscape design and construction. After a move to Sydney I have enjoyed working in the Aussie climate and building more top quality gardens down under!
What I love most about my job… Getting up in the morning early! I love working with different people from all walks of life and creating great outdoor spaces.
When I am not at work I… explore Sydney with my family, go running and spend time with my boys Harrison and Finnley.
I am happiest when… Aston Villa is playing and ahead!
When I was a child I wanted to be… A policeman
My dream for the future is… Aston Villa to win the premiership. To see my sons grow up happy and confident. Work with Ray Mears.
