Green Wall Design
The green walls technology is quickly becoming a fundamental element of the emerging practice of living architecture, however they are much more than just an architectural or ideological construct. Our understanding of wall design as an energy and water management system has grown immensily during the past decade and it is the combination of these features of green roofs and walls which make them very attractive sustainable building solutions.
As every building is unique, at Green Rooms careful consideration is given to both of these aspects to find the optimal balance for a particular green wall design. During the design phase, drawings and documents prepared by Green Rooms address all issues involving plant and media selection, water management (including water conservation), and maintenance requirements in an effort to tailor the vegetated wall to climactic constraints and the client's needs.
